Are shortcode messages (5-6 digits) supported with 2nd Phone Number?

While the Second Phone Number App offers many benefits, it's important to understand its limitations. Unfortunately, sending messages to shortcodes is not currently supported.

Here's why:

• Second Phone Number utilizes Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology. This differs from traditional cellular networks used by shortcodes.
• Shortcodes are designed to interact with specific cellular networks and may not recognise or respond to messages sent from VoIP numbers.

Alternatives:

• If you need to use a shortcode, you might consider: Using a traditional mobile phone number or contacting the service or organization associated with the shortcode directly to inquire about alternative methods.
